Well what do you know? It appears there’s a new update for the titles going to be available for Nintendo 3DS. As some of you may already know, 3DS will have its debut on February exclusively on Japan and March on Western Countries and one of the titles that’s clamored for this release are the Legend of Zelda sequels.
From our previous report, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first installment that’s going to be revealed for the newly fangled gadget although as of today, it appears there’s another one and it will be called as the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

As of the moment, its status is “currently” being in development although Nintendo’s Chief Iwata mentioned, Skyward Sword is already in the “final phases” of development and it should have its release date this year although obviously, this will be revealed after Ocarine of Time.
As for the gameplay of this title, it would be like the traditional flow of Legend of Zelda games added with some cool swordplay swings and eliminating your enemies in one hit. There will also be a stamina meter to keep focus on your endurance aside from your health and it was said that drinking potions wouldn’t interrupt the flow of your game anymore.
The Legenda of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be directed by Hidemaro Fujibayashi and it’s said to be revealed for Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
