Google’s Voice Search for Desktop has recently been launched. And a lot have already benefited from its effortless type-free search functions. But beyond that, the new feature has still been left with a bunch of limitations.

Take for example, the need to stay at close range to use the microphone. Apart from this, users have always been required to press that small ‘Voice Search’ icon.
Thus, it such a good to thing to know that a company called BREAKFAST has managed to develop a clever innovation. This involves the use of ‘The Verbalizer’, of which, has been presented to be an open-source wireless microphone.
Moreover, The Verbalizer can be connected to the desktop via Bluetooth. It can also be used even if the user is at 10 meters away as it is equipped with an on-board mic that eventually allows the search engine to recognize its given audio notification. Pretty cool, huh?
As for those who would like to get one, BREAKFAST is currently giving some of its kits away for a limited run. The lucky winners will then be named on the 1st of next month. Others could also opt to go on DIY for the company has already made its source available for download.
