There’s no doubt that one of the most anticipated PC RPG games for this year is Witcher 2 a.k.a The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. For those who are unfamiliar, this should come out as the next sequel for Witcher 1 released last 2007, positively criticized by gaming pundits with its unique storyline and gameplay.

Obviously, aside from its tag price at 49.99 USD, the other question gamers are wondering about is its specs requirements. As a PC-gamer, you are as good as the rig of your machine, and considering Witcher 1 has a fairly high-end requirements for its recommended specs, its just normal to think CD Projekt would pass on with that tradition on its next sequel.
Check out the official Witcher 2 Minimum / Recommended system requirements.
As expected, its recommended specs is more like a beefed-out rig of a 2010 computer. With an Intel Quad core processor / AMD Phenom equivalent and GeForce 260 / Radeon HD 4850, we’re certainly talking about a high-end computer rig here. Well, you can say it couldn’t be as high as Crysis 2 but you can’t call those specs as average either. Here’s to say that if you are interested on playing this game, you better save some money to upgrade your PC for its release date is coming on May 17!
