They are so proud in fact, that their upgrading their portfolio with the release of their quad tuner series 4 DVR, TiVo Premiere Elite.
The new DVR is capable of recording up to 300 hours of HD content. Thanks to its generous 2 TB built-in hard drive. More so, it will come with a breakthrough four tuners that will let you record four different programs at the same time while you watch a different show. This would also be the first TiVo brainchild to have a THX certification with access to different content providers such as Hulu Plus, Netflix and Pandora.
Other features include: USB 2.0 support (2 ports), eSATA, TiVO Wireless N or G Network Adapter, Ethernet input, CableCARDTM and Cable coax support, hdmi, component video output, video out modes: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p , THX-certified and features TiVo Series4TM architecture.
All of this looks good but you might want to hold your thoughts because at this moment, there is still no news if the elite DVR would support video on demand from various cable providers.
