Toshiba has opened its doors for three new models of the R800 Series, namely R830, R840 and R850. While the world is going crazy over tablets, Toshiba presented 3 new laptop models at the MWC. The sizes of the R830, R840 and R850 differ, from 13.3″, 14″ and 15.6″ respectively.

I’ll cut to the chase and show you why they’re worth the penny:
- Latest Intel CPU platform
- 2.5″ HDD up to 640GB with HDD 3D impact sensor or optional Solid State Drives
- USB3.0, eSATA / USB2,0 combo port with Sleep-and-Charge, Multi-Card Reader, VGA & HDMI®
- VGA Webcam
- A4 slim tile keyboard, large multi-touch touch pad hours
- 9.5mm DVD Super Slim Super Multi & DL

Satellite R850:
- 15-inch form-factor with LED backlit HD (1366 x 768) resolution display
- Second Gen. Intel Core processors (Sandy Bridge)
- Solid State Drive (SSD) storage option
If you’re privy of your data, these three fresh laptops will have up to 8GB of RAM and 649GB of hard disk storage. They also have a fast USB 3.0 port that offers data rates up to 5GB. You can now back up for your files with a lot of time to spare using USB 3.0 compatible storage devices.

The Toshiba Satellite R800 series are equipped with WLAN 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS to suit your digital needs. There are no announcements yet as to how much the R830, R840 and R850 would be on the market, but they are believed to be released on the second quarter of 2011.
