You’re watching TV and enjoying your favorite show and then suddenly all the lights were out and the power have gone off! Well, you don’t have to be depressed for Toshiba has recently unveiled its new REGZA 19P2.

The Toshiba REGZA 19P2 is a new 19 inch battery powered television. It can operate without any plug and can let you switch from AC to battery power modes. Apart from this, the new television is also packed with a built-in TV tuner and can be operated through a rechargeable battery pack of lithium ion. The TV can last uncharged for up to five hours and can be easily switched back to AC by a single press of a button.
Other specs and features of the new battery powered Toshiba REGZA 19P2 TV:
- 19 inch LED Backlit LCD in high-definition
- 720p of screen resolution
- anti-tip screw holes
- inactivity power-off feature
- low-power consumption
- ideal for emergency use
In addition, the TV can only be charged when it’s turned off or on its stand-by mode. It can’t also be charged at daytime. Instead, it can be charged at nights (from 9pm to 10pm) where the demand for power is low.
The new Toshiba REGZA 19P2 will soon be made available next month. It cost around 500 USD and will only be made available in Japan.
