The leading producer of laptops and notebooks once again rolled out in the market with the new models of laptops designed for entertainment and style. Toshiba had recently announced new laptops named as Satellite AS665 and Satellite M645. The new set of Satellite netbooks offers new exterior designs and do have features that are intended for gaming, movie as well as music.
The two sets of laptops both have the Fushion X2 finish which is made up of textured surface that covers the outer cover and the palm rest. It also has a glossy trim which can be found at the edge of this textured surface.
Satellite A665 and Satellite M645 shared some features such as having the premium raised-tilt keyboards, wide multi touch touchpads, TruBrite HD LED backlit widescreen displays, NVIDIA Optimus Technology, Harman/Kardon Speakers and Dolby Advanced Audio. Also as Toshiba’s products, the new models include smart features such as Toshiba USB Sleep-and-Charge, ReelTime and Bulletin board. They also have new innovations and applications that will surely enhance the entertainment experience. The Satellite A665 and Satellite M645 laptops have the Toshiba Sleep and Music which allows users to use the laptops’ speakers even if it is shut off and the Resolution + DVD Upconversion that easily upgrades standard definition movies and improve the graphics.
Toshiba also offer options for these two sets of laptops like Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and AMD Phenom II Quad Core processors, DDR2 RAM, 7200RPM Hard Drives, NVIDIA GeForce 310M and GeForce GT330M graphics Processors, Intel Wirelss Display, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Max and Slot-loading DVD drives as well as Blu-ray Disc drives.
All the new lines of laptops are indeed great, however the main thing in these new set is the Satellite A665 3D edition that offers an great 3D experience. It has the 15.6-inch HD TruBrite LED Backlit widescreen 120Hz display and is run by Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core processor with TurboBoost technology. It also includes 4GB DDR3 RAM, 640GB HDD, an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM and pair of active-shutter NVIDIA 3D glasses. It supports Blu-ray 3D content. It starts selling at the price of $1599.99 and is already available in the market.
The non 3D version of Satellite A665 sports a 16 inch screen- slightly larger than the 3D version. Alongside is the M645 which only has a 14 inch display screen. Toshiba Satellite A665 is selling at a starting price of $799.99 while and Satellite M645 laptops will have $729.99 as starting price. Both models are already available.
