In case you didn’t notice, Toshiba is starting to embrace the 3D-bandwagon ever since last year when it featured out one of its first 3D-Laptop (A665 3D). Sure, its price was a bit hefty especially when it was followed by a Sandy Bridge upgrade a couple of months ago, bringing its price to around 13 – 15 Benjamins.
As of today, pundits have spotted the latest 3D laptops going to be revealed by Tosh and expect that their high-end spec comes with a “high-end” price as well.
So they will be called as Toshiba Satellite P770 and Satellite P775 3D, and both of these machines are expected to deliver the full 3D experience at the comforts of your notebook. Instead of harnessing the usual “glasses-free 3D” way, the company decided to make this one utilize the Nvidia Shutter glasses, said to deliver the “real 3D” integration along with these laptop’s 18.4-inch HD TruBrite screen (120Hz). Meanwhile, these pair will also have a blu-ray rewritable drive (BD-RE) which makes me believe its price would skyrocket once again.
Additionally, it’s said that the P77 series will have a 3D video-recording capability via its 3D webcam, which is really hard to believe that it will look “crystal clear” when it renders the final output. Anyway, the official price or its expected release date is still yet to be revealed “soon”.
