In fact, it has managed to create a small group of ultra-portable devices that consist of the booklet W100, smartbook AC100 and completing the group is the recently unveiled Toshiba Tablet Folio 100. All of these devices come with innovative features and the best technology that Toshiba can offer.
The Toshiba Tablet Folio 100 is most often referred to as the SmartPad. But it appears that the SmartPad is more of a category in which the Folio 100 belongs. The Folio 100 is believed to be a Tegra 2 device that will run with Android OS. Since it will be powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC, for sure this device will come with a good processing performance as well as advanced multimedia capabilities.

Overall, it seems that the Folio 100 is a tablet especially designed to cater all the multimedia needs of its users. Toshiba engineers must have really exerted great effort to come up with such a great product. Amazingly this tablet can boot in less than 30 seconds only and includes the best application programs that can fully utilized the users Web browsing and computing experience, which can even be enhanced by downloadable software and applications from Toshiba as well as the Android Market.
As of present, there is no official announcement yet as to when this tablet will be released as well as how much it will be offered. But there is a big possibility that Toshiba will launch the said tablet and give more details about it at the IFA to be held next month.
