The UFC Undisputed franchise is one of the most popular video-game related to Mix Martial Arts (MMA); likewise, the game became a little bit rusty throughout the years since its first version last 2009. As of today, the gamingsphere reveals that UFC Undisputed 3 will have its official release next year.
To be more specific, this game will still be published by THQ, although it’s not yet told if Yuke’s will still be its developer. Naturally, this game is the answer of THQ after two years of not revealing any sequel from Undisputed 2 last year.
For its new features, it will have “Pride Matches” which is based on the “Pride Fighting Championship” organization, popularly known to have more relaxed rules compared with the traditional UFC. This mode should have more brutal set of combats with players, and a more gory approach with the MMA game. As gamespot says, “it has more vicious experience”.

Other than that, the grappling rules and UFC’s ‘classic striking’ have been changed to make everything more realistic. Meanwhile, the company expects that the controls and whole experience of playing the new game would be “user-friendly” despite of these additional gameplay options.
Expect its release date to hit on early 2012 available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
