If you’ve been following the news for Motorola Droid this year, you know that it isn’t the prettiest compared with Samsung and HTC revealing their superphones month after month. Perhaps, we can all agree that the delay of Droid Bionic, seems to have affected the momentum of Moto of revealing its smartphones, not to mention that Droid X2 isn’t exactly the type of Droid device we’re all waiting for to see.
Hopefully, the upcoming Motorola Droid 3 will break this bad omen and will give us a superphone we’re all expecting for the Droid series!
As of today, HF managed to reveal one of the first photos for Droid 3, featuring an improved 4-inch qHD screen; running a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU or could utilize an OMAP processor as an alternative. Meanwhile, its other goodies include HDMI-out for wireless media streaming on external devices, a rear facing and 8MP shooter camera.
In addition to that, several sources point out that its release date should hit next month, landing on Verizon for its usual price just like the previous Droid devices; strangely, this one is predicted not to have any 4G LTE support
For the sake of fans, I hope Moto can still pull-out its “droid-does magic” that started two years ago. What do you think?
