Verizon iPad 2: Release Time and Date — Will You Buy?

Posted on 07 March 2011 by pinoytutorial

Unlike last year when the whole blogosphere was reporting about the first Verizon iPad, the case is much different today. Mainly because, there’s no more secrets needed to be revealed for iPad 2 on Verizon since it has been officially announced by Apple last Wednesday along with the iPad 2. That being said, Verizon is prepping up on its website about the official iPad 2 landing on their carrier, just to show the whole world that they and AT&T are the only carriers in USA authenticated to reveal this “revolutionary” and “magical” piece of device to Americans this Friday.

Speaking of which, if you have already made up your mind on picking Verizon instead of AT&T for the next-generation iPad, you may want to visit your local Verizon store at 5:00pm this Friday to make sure you’ll get it. Although, I highly doubt there’ll be a big line ahead of you, since Apple stores and AT&T shops would also be selling these tablets at the same day.

For those who are still contemplating about what carrier to pick for their iPad 2, you should know that they are practically the same in terms of price and the inability to use 4G, sticking with 3G in the process. But then again, there could be some discrepancy with their data-plans, to settle a subtle differences between the two carriers.

So would you buy the Verizon iPad 2 this week? Show us in your comments below!

I hope iPad 2 can live up to all expectations. Motorola Xoom is now starting build-up supporters. Usually, I am against when 2nd generation devices are being released while their predecessor had just been released less than a year ago. But this is a different case; Motorola is slowly killing the interest of the people to iPad 2. Let’s see what Steve Jobs will do about this problem.

Sensible comments/suggestions are always appreciated.
