Yesteday saw the first real evidence of a partnership between Apple and Verizon through its iPad — kind of. You see at this point, it may be too early to tell what will be the real score should these two company giants decided to take their partnership to the next level when that mythical Verizon iPhone 4 arrives on Q1 on 2011. As for the Verizon iPad, the price is what you call a good deal already. Although, there are other clarifications that unfold about its data plan – you know? The type of plan in which some newbies pay more than what they bargain for, just because they didn’t pay attention to it.

At this point, you should know that Verizon is offering iPad on their stores with a MiFi 2200 hub. The dongle cost normally for 279 USD but when you get their iPad package (iPad + Mifi) a16GB iPad will become 629.99 USD only. Giving you a discount of almost 150 dollars! But there’s a catch.
You can’t use your old MiFi 2200 hub if you are planning to avail this iPad package. Also you are oblige to pay for a data plan (as usual). And its breakdown is as follows.
1GB Data Plan = $20 / month
3GB Data Plan = $35 / month
5GB Data Plan = $50 / month
You can check out how many data you have been consumed by texting or logging in to your Verizon account. Just make sure that you won’t pass the limit; else, you will be paying more. One of the best sample of how to consume your data plan fast is when you don’t limit yourself to video streaming (Youtube, Flash based video sites, etc) and downloading large contents. If that’s the case then you may want to use your own WiFi connection for that, if you don’t want your data plan to go off the roof.
