The word ‘Verizon iPhone’ is nothing new to the tech-industry. However, since 2007, It became like a mythical device for consumers to have because of that dreaded contract signed by Apple and AT&T.

Anyway, today we are receiving another concrete evidence that an iPhone from Verizon will be released on Q1 of 2011. Some were thinking it will be the iPhone 5 but we think it would be quite absurd to release the next-gen iPhone ahead of Apple’s normal schedule. So it’s more safe to assume that it will be the Verizon iPhone 4.
What’s more fascinating to see aside from its carrier issues is the report coming from WSJ stating that the next iPhone will have a new form-factor on its design. Perhaps, it will be Apple’s official hardware solution for that antennagate issue they faced on its iPhone 4. Lining up to this statement, this could also spell-out the reason why those white iPhone 4 are having a heck of a delay. Perhaps, Apple is already fixing its antenna problems already.
Here’s an excerpt from Verizon’s President, Lowell McAdam
“At some point our business interests are going to align,” he said, referring to Apple. “I fully expect it, but I don’t have anything to say.”
One should realize that Apple devices are very hard to leak – except for that iPhone 4 stolen device. I can only assume that the next generation iPhone will be as hard to leak than it was before, now that the culprit who was said to be pirating iDevices in Asia was already put into custody.
