Earlier today, WSJ is revealing some bold statement about that ever elusive iPhone for Verizon. What’s more astounding to hear is the time-line of the release date of this device. They said that as early as January 2011, consumers will already be seeing a CDMA iPhone. The only question is, will it be the Verizon iPhone 4 or Verizon iPhone 5?
We have a solid evidence that the next iPhone 5 will have some amazing features for its payment system but we won’t be hoping too much that it will be revealed as early as January. It will be more sensible that Apple will follow its tradition on releasing this next-gen iPhone device on month of June / July. Hence, that Verizon iPhone 4 rumor mill will more likely to appear on Q1 of 2011.
Now some may be asking why is it like a music to the buyer’s ears whenever they hear about this ‘Verizon iPhone’ device? Frankly, Apple’s weakest link is its carrier only residing to AT&T. This brought positive and negative effects for the gadget. Positive in the part of AT&T, because it really did make a monopoly streak out of the generations of iPhone since 2007. It became negative on the side of AT&T and Apple because AT&T can’t handle the demands of millions of consumers (E.g: Faster connection, better signal on any parts of USA, etc) Bringing the blame back to Apple by consumers asking why can’t they just pick another carrier other than AT&T?
This has been the tale of the tape for years now and one of the main reason why Apple can’t just leave AT&T is because they have a contract. The annoying thing about this one is it was rumored to last until 2012. Here’s to say that by mixing Red V to the story. It will settle some sort of ‘choice’ for consumers. Naturally, AT&T will be forced to bring their service on a higher notch else Verizon will sweep all the iPhone customers out from their feet.
