At the industry, it’s not really a cause of surprise if you will hear the news of another ‘Verizon iPhone” possibility roaming around the net. As some of you may probably know, this Red V iPhone has been the talk of the town ever since that day Apple decided to put its almighty phone exclusively for AT&T only.
Anyway, for our new readers who are still wondering what’s so important with an iPhone going to Verizon. The answer for this is, it would leave a new choice for users to get a plan they want other than being tied under AT&T’s tyrant rule. I am not saying Verizon’s a saint, but we all know competition of two companies always give a good possibility to bring benefit for the buyers.
As for the latest news today, the whole industry (From Bloomberg to WallStreet Journal) is pointing out that Verizon would be launching a special event on February 11 (Tuesday) and this one would be so big, it’s rumored that Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs would have a cameo appearance for this announcement. At this point, it’s just logical to think it could be the revelation of the Verizon iPhone 4 considering it would be too early to think of the fifth-generation iPhone which always have a traditional release date on June / July.
Your best bet? This event won’t be about the revelation of any ‘iPhone 5’ device. But still, just the mere thought of an iPhone going to Verizon will make everyone thrilled.
