The demand for pocket projectors has been constantly increasing. This is due to the fact that a lot of people have been more aware of the convenience it brings. And though there might be a lot of pocket projectors in the market, only a few have been found to be capable of projecting 3D images on a bare screen.

Thus, it is quite interesting to know that a company like Vivitek has decided to offer a new pocket projector that is capable of transmitting images in 3D. And we’re lucky to learn that the said device has been named as Qumi.
But unlike any other pocket projectors, Qumi is LED-based and sports a 720p of native WXGA 1280 x 800 screen. It is also equipped with a DLP Chipset and packs a mini-HDMI for high-definition movie viewing.
The Vivitek Qumi is also capable of emitting up to 300 lumens of brightness and can be matched to any laptop, smartphone or tablet. It boasts a contrast ratio of 2500:1 and packs a built in slot for USB and micro SD. The said pocket projector is also equipped with a 24-pin connector and packs a built-in speaker for certain audio needs.
If you like to own one, the Vivitek Qumi 3D pocket projector is currently available for a suggested retail price of 499 USD. It comes in two color variants, black and white.
