The Volkswagen XL1 is a car that has 313MPG fuel efficiency and produces 24g of CO2 per kilometer. It has an electric motor and a compact 800 cc TDO tow cylinder tat develops 48PS. It has a weight of 795kg and is light and aerodynamic by using magnesium, ceramics, and aluminum. Then it has a 0.8-liter diesel engine for the powertrain while the electric motor is rated at 26hp.
This car can travel up to 22 miles on electricity by using the lithium-ion battery pack as it gains charge from regenerative breaking. The Volkswagen XL1 runs from 0 to 62mph in 11.9 seconds while its top speed is limited to 99mph. And because it has a 2.6-gallon fuel tank, it has a driving range of 341 miles. Overall, it is 153.1 inches and stands at 45.5 inches tall and 65.6 inches wide.

The Volkswagen XL1 will be featured in a car show in Qatar but there is no announcement yet when it will be available in the US market nor its price tag. So, look out for updates and announcements on this if you want to get hold of this great and powerful car.
