Wacom Bamboo Stylus for iPad: Price and Review Updates

Posted on 24 April 2011 by pinoytutorial

It’s about time for Wacom, one of the most known manufacturers for graphics tablets, to release their own made stylus for the iPad and name it under its product line Bamboo . And almost everyone knows that if its Wacom, for sure, this is one high quality stylus and it would be great to pair to an iPad. Hurray for no more awkward activities such as taking down notes and sketching with our fingers!

The Bamboo Stylus doesn’t look flashy that much although it’s certainly not plastic. It looks like a fountain pen with a rubber tip at its end. It just weighs about 20g, making it easier to use. You can do almost everything with it on the iPad capacitive screen especially that it comes along with several pen-based applications! During the Gadget Show Live, some guys were able to use it and agreed that it’s a good stylus pen although they must admit, it still has its own glitches. But oh well, it’s definitely better to use rather than using our fingers again.

Although it’s specifically designed for iPad, it will still be compatible with other devices with capacitive touch screens, which makes it more desirable. The Bamboo stylus will be first released at the UK next month for about £24.99 ($41). No announcement if it will be released in the US.
