Another game to anticipate is Warhammer 40000: Space Marine, which is a third-person action video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ.
Here, players will be playing as Captain Titus, who is a Space Marine and is humanity’s last hope for survival in a dark future that knows only war. It is here that an ork invasion of an Imperial Forge World is happening. Then came the Warboss who is leading an invasion in order to steal and salvage a Warlord Class Battle Titan. It is up to Captain Titus of the Ultramarine Chapter to stop the Warboss from invading.
The gameplay still has limited details except that you get to take control of a four-man squad of space marines: Assault Marine, Tactical Marine, Sergeant and Devastator Marine. As the game progresses, upgrades are earned for each marine, which allows players to customize the squad all throughout the game. But, when it comes to every mission, only one marine is piloted. This will be a very hard mission for the Captain as he won’t be fighting humans, but rather a creature that has very powerful army and weapons. This is a great challenge for players who want to stay glued to their seats while playing.
Warhammer 40000: Space Marine will be released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in summer of 2011, but there is still no information on the price yet.
