The world was watching the Verizon-iPhone Conference yesterday and after three years of struggle against the AT&T supremacy, the exclusivity bond has finally been broken which is supposed to bring better service to the users, since it’s now two giant networks who are providing the much needed subscription for their iPhones. While it’s still the same iPhone though with some subtle changes on its physical antenna and added features, there’s still a lot of question regarding the future of Apple’s messiah device. And if you’ll ask me, that would be the iphone 5 release date and would the upcoming White iPhone 4 be under Verizon’s magic touch as well?
To tell you the truth, the answer is, we’ll see! Looking back at the conference, Apple’s Tim Cook managed to use this float as an example for Verizon iPhone 4 and you can’t help but to wonder what’s the purpose of that white-colored version dangling on the screen? So far, that image was removed as soon as it was publicized on the blogosphere.
If you’ll ask my opinion, I do believe that on the release date of White iPhone 4 this Spring (which should be coming next month), users would also have the chance to pick it under the Verizon carrier just because there’s really no major hardware adjustments for the iPhone except for a little tweak on its antenna receiver for it to become CDMA-enabled.
At this point, it doesn’t really matter if these whiteys would be available on Verizon. Why? Because you can already guess it will – in one way or another – in this coming spring or in June – when the next iPhone 5 is revealed. Apple would be so dumb if they will delay this White iPhone 4 on V just like what it did with the unit which was supposed to be available four months ago.
