B Windows 7 SP1 Release Date And Features

In a small or large scale business organizations, there are several divisions working together as a team to deliver solutions to its end customers. With the growing popularity of the internet, business groups are now looking into it as a wide network where each of their staff can interact and use it as part of their resource. However, with the growing demands and popularity of information technology among us, several problems arises from different sectors such as employees, decision makers and the IT . Some of them are demanding fast access of data from any remote location, cost-effective ways to grow the business and productivity of employees as well as data security

Desktop Virtualization may help solve above problems by providing users more flexibility in accessing their personal data files on their PC. In connection with this,  Microsoft Company had announced that it will be releasing the first Service Pack for Microsoft 7 as well as the Windows Server 2008 R2 by the end of July which will provide the much needed virtualization features.

For the Windows Server 2008 R2, it will be having two new features which will be providing virtualization capabilities that will help enhance the Windows VDI experience. First is the Microsoft Remote FX which will be introducing a new set of end user experience enhancements enabling local like desktop environment over the network.  The RemoteFX will enable users to work in full fidelity and improvement in their end products while keeping their applications and data secure and centrally managed.  The second feature will be the Dynamic Memory allowing Windows Server Hyper-V to allocate more or less memory to each VM as it will be needed for a more scalable and better performing VDI environment.

The company also comes saying that although the new features for Windows Server 2008 R2 will surely benefit Windows 7 by promising richer VDI experience, the new SP1 will not be having any new feature that is solely intended for Windows 7.  The Windows 7 SP1 will only be having a combination of updates that is already available through Windows Update and hot fixes from the feedbacks of the company’s customers and partners. The company then ensures that the customers can feel confident about deploying Windows 7 now. The company also confirmed that it had already sold over 100 million license of Windows 7. Looks like the SP1 will soar on the market when it is officially release. More updates to come…
