Based on some of the information that has leaked regarding this upcoming OS, it appears that that cloud will play an even more vital role in this next generation of Windows. Apparently, a popular theme among the Windows 7 commercials also features the idea of the cloud. This means that you could use a friend’s computer and obtain your desktop profile from the cloud. It looks like the Windows 8 will be Microsoft’s next big operating system and seen as a direct successor of the incredibly successful Windows 7 OS.

The latest batch of leaked information about the Windows 8 operating system includes the most conclusive evidence of a Windows 8 app store, including a logo and a slew of other references at the code level like the ability to download a trial application and unlock its full version as well. Apparently, on the Windows desktop, the Windows app store will be made up of several components that include a runtime module, service and a licensing client that is separately called out in a folder name.

In addition to this, we can also see a Windows store logo that is hidden within the Windows 8 files that is just a 24 x 24 pixel .PNG image. This logo appears to be fairly consistent with Microsoft’s other logos as it also features some multiple stacked squares that have round corners. In addition to this, there are also two .HTML pages that lie within the files and based on the font used on its error page it looks like the Metro design language will once again be the front and center in this Windows app store.

The word “device” has also been used in the settings description that could indicate that the next generation of Microsoft’s operating system might be angling in providing a more seamless experience between Windows PCs and Windows phone

Well, it seems that this upcoming OS is really something that we can look forward to as it is packed with new and interesting features. Certainly, the expectations for this new OS are high, so let us just wait and see whether Microsoft has met these expectations or not.
