If ever there’s one thing that you wouldn’t want to do upon following a leak from your favorite company like Microsoft, it’s about don’t expecting too much not until you already see its official press release just to be on the safer ground and to protect your geeky heart from getting torn apart.

As you can see, that’s the story line of the HP Slate which was first revealed by Steve Ballmer last CES whereas it was the talk of the town just because it was predicted to be an iPad-killer. After months of waiting, it did materialize in the form of HP Slate 500 whereas it’s running Windows 7 OS and somehow, it didn’t budge the iPad streak at all.
As of today, NY Times managed to reveal a new leak of how Microsoft is going to reveal a series of Windows-powered tablets and it will be collaborating with Samsung / Dell for manufacturing it. There’s a lot of haziness with this report although you can bet the one being pertained as an example would be the Samsung Gloria tablet. Later on, redmonians claim that the next tablet has a high possibility of chance running Windows 8 which we all know would be revealed on next year as well.
So far, you can expect the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle to be filled once CES 2011 has commenced so I say just wait!
