Ah yes! You got to love the smell of fresh apps on a new platform, don’t you? While the main objective of the new windows phone 7 series is not to thrive on thousands of applications just like Android and Apple. It sure needs some core apps to pump up its platform and make the users happy. Engadget made a statement that Microsoft is prepping up for two thousands apps, but right now it appears the only ones that were available are less than 100 – 22 from those apps are free.
To make everything flow smoothly, you can now download these apps directly from your Smartphone via Zune 4.7 once you sync your newly bought WP7 gadget (next month) on your computer. Take note that right now the count of apps are still few and the price varies from free, $0.99, to $6.99. Certainly, Microsoft is going to pump their marketplace with more apps just to match it on the launch date of the new WP7 smartphones on mid November.
