Uh-oh, Houston we got a problem again! If you are not a fan of AT&T then certainly this news will not strung a good tone to your ears. Recently, Bloomberg announced that the new Windows Phone 7 won’t be supported by Verizon on its launch. That means, there will be no CDMA phone for this year. Sources, suggest that the Verizon Windows Phone 7 will only be available later on 2011. Which is a sad-tale for everyone. Leaving this phone to only 2 choices – AT&T and T-Mobile.

We are assuming that Microsoft has more issues to attend with Verizon. Remember the kin debacle we had before? Anyway, the only light that we’re seeing on this one is the probable alliance of Microsoft and Nokia to go on a collision course with Android and Apple. We all know that Nokia is planning to release a new breed of their own smartphones as well.
In an optimistic view, Apple made one of the most successful phones of all time with one carrier only. But the tides are now different with Windows Phone 7. People know the nightmare of a superphone being controlled by one omnipotent being. Hence, WP7 hasn’t proven anything yet in the mobile industry. So this will be a pretty stiff competition for both parties. I still keep my hopes up on Microsoft – Especially, with those redmonians who just recently celebrated the death of iPhone.
The Windows Phone 7 will be officially launched on October 11 and this will be the first flagship mobile device of Microsoft. Aside from that turtle phone – which never was.
