Behold! The world of Azeroth will once again be shattered! Deathwing’s revenge will surely be filled with pain, agony, and hatred! So brace yourselves because everything won’t be the same!
Cataclysm will feature a re-created world of Azeroth designed with high-level adventures. It basically tells about the return of an ancient evil, Dragon Aspect Deathwing, from his dormant rest in Deepholm. With Deathwing’s return, chaos and destruction awaits Azeroth.
In Cataclysm, players will have the ability to upgrade their characters up to level 86. They will also have the chance to select new races such as Worgens and Goblins.
With its most anticipated expansion, WoW Cataclysm will officially start on North American servers on December 7, 2010 at exactly 12 a.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time). This applies to all players worldwide. Therefore, Eastern players will have to wait for the PST before they can begin the game.
For those who want to get a copy, Cataclysm will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows XP/VISTA/7 and Mac users for $39.99. A digital download will also be offered at the official Blizzard Shop. There’s also a special Collector’s Package that Warcraft fans will definitely love. Along with its bonus items, the special edition pack will be available in retail stores for only $79.99.
