Just because its Thanksgiving week, doesn’t mean our developers for World of Warcraft Cataclysm has managed to stall the release of its first major “The Shattering” patch for a piece of Turkey with Cran-sauce. As we previously reported, as early as November 23, gamers should be experiencing the shattering pathc 4.0.3a rolling out on their battle.net account although it appears today there has been some delay but fair enough, WoW has finally dropped the official patchnote for this one and the details for the new changes are quite lengthy.

Just to give you a quick wrap-up, this patch will cover all the changes from cataclysm’s new launcher update, reforging NPC characters, new dungeons and raids system, currency for PVP changes, character changes for (Death Knights, Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins and Warlocks). In addition to that, there will be a tons of updates to improve the UI of Cataclysm and tweaks on graphics so your Cataclysm game won’t look cartoonish on your HD 6900 / GTX 500 rigged computer – you know what I mean?
So far, the official unveiling of World of Warcraft will be happening on December 7 and if you live in UK, you may want to cheer with the WoW Chicks on its ‘time square’ on December 6. The Shattering patch will commenced as soon as you start your first Cataclysm game. Hang on tight!
