We all know that one of the coolest feature for Samsung Android phones last year, was not really about its specifications, but because SWYPE’s exclusivity over the brand. Likewise, many users were in a bliss when its developer provided a beta test of this amazing SMS mobile application.
Going back to the real world, it’s obvious that some WP7 users are wishing this feature would also land on their device. Well, what do you know? As of today, Invoke IT touts its new Sliding Keyboard, said to be a SMS application similar with what the features of SWYPE possess.
At first glance, you can see its interface – keys, font size, icons, etc — is custom-made to fit perfectly on the Windows Phone unit. Likewise, this would come as a peripheral application and won’t replace the native keyboard that come preinstalled on your unit.
If you’re interested, the Sliding Keyboard is now available for download via the Marketplace with a price of $1.29. It comes with a “free trail” and auto-correction capability which is still not as adaptive as the performance of SWYPE.
