Recently, we have reported about the Boeing Phantom Ray having the bragging rights as the most advanced spyplane on Earth – Today, a new type of Jet comes out from the sky and this one came from Boeing as well. The X-51a Waverider holds the current title for the fastest Jet on Earth, beating the sound barrier for 6 times (Mach 6)
So how fast is Mach 6, anyway?
Actually, the first time humans break the sound barrier was on 1947 – using Bell X-1 Jet and the pilot was Chuck Yeager. To beat the sound barrier, you need to reach the speed of at least 1225 Km (761 Mph) Once you passed that mark, a very loud Sonic Boom will be heard. It’s really crazy to watch. That’s what you called Mach 1. Now to reach Mach 6, you need to multiply the speed of sound to 6. Making it move on an incredible speed of 2 041.74 meters / second
Seriously, it’s way way faster than a bullet. A normal 9 mm pistol only has a bullet speed of 340 m/s , Assault Rifle with 920 M/s. So you can say, technically, that it’s really faster than a speeding bullet.
This wargadget is still on a test flight but the results were very astounding, sources said that the reason for the creation of the X-51 jets are for a new breed of hypersonic planes that can carry cruise missiles, on an insane speed.
Here’s the video:
… Question is, who’s the target? Well, we’ll leave that to your folly.

Better to hold off building such devices that can destroy so much when our leaders are so insane.
