This news made us really excited. We immediately look for more details about it and confirm if the new Xbox 360 looks more appealing than the old design. Here’s the thing, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, YES we confirmed that there was an Xbox 360 casing mod manufactured to alter the look and feel of your good ‘ole Xbox unit. Although according to its manufacturer, the production is still on planning phase.
The bad news is that the Xbox 360 Elegant edition doesn’t look “too elegant” at all. Many gadget blogs have described it; “it looks child-like, childish and children’s toy”. Perhaps you’re getting our point here. The Xbox 360 Elegant edition casing mod looks very inferior than its predecessor. Look closely on these snapped photographs and give your verdict.
Technabob said that the Xbox 360 makeover was designed by Sweden’s Industri Repro. Upon checking on the site, we found out that the manufacturer had only produced one (1) prototype for the new edition of Xbox 360. Industri Repro further added:
Due to a great interest from people around the world we are now calculating a production cost for a serial production.
Not sure, who the “interested” folks they were referring too. Probably some Xbox 360 geeks who are waiting for “anything” new Xbox 360 modification. We’re really interested to see who are those people who like to have this mod for Christmas. On the other hand, it proves that Microsoft and the rest of the gang are serious on mass producing the new Xbox 360 shell. Let’s have a look under the hood of this baby which by the way claims to “follow” the Microsoft Zune HD traditional look.

Are they blind?
The design looks like a normal “package” box with X-marked LED. Where’s the elegance,prestige and creativity here? We honestly don’t see any improvements on the new design, worse it looks bulkier than the old one.
