Posted on 12 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

We have covered earlier reports encircling about that topic, if it was really possible for Microsoft to release some of their popular Xbox 360 games in their new set of Windows Phone 7 series? Well, we have an answer for that. And it appears it was quite possible but in a subtle way. As you can see, eventhough Microsoft touts that XNA Game Studio 4.0 will bring-forth the xbox live gaming straight to your WP7 device. Everything is still futuristic.

Currently, all the nine windows phone 7 smartphones that were released yesterday only have a 1GHz processor; it’s efficient for web-browsing and normal app usage, but it playing Crysis or Halo Reach? Obviously, it’s still not there yet. Engadget confirms that some of the games they have tested loads a lot of time (much like under 3 minutes to start when playing The Harvest). Although, you can already spot the cool features of the WP7 Gaming Hub, like editing your Xbox Live avatar, putting there all of your games, invite another player for a fight, trash-talking, etc. But of course the real steak in which playing full xbox 360 games isn’t possible yet.

Perhaps in the future. Who knows? Maybe Sony wouldn’t be the first company to release the first real and full gaming smartphone for enthusiasts.
