After two years of waiting since Kinect was first introduced to mankind by Microsoft and Steven Spielberg last May 2009 as Project Natal, we were so sure that it will create a howling voice towards the gaming community. But the question is, will this voice be a welcoming tune or a screeching tone for gamers? Yesterday was the official unveiling of Xbox Kinect and somehow we’ve reported some of the imminent glitches and problems of why you should think twice before buying this new motion-based console from Microsoft.

So far, the real deal is about the comparison of Xbox 360 Kinect to PS3 Move. At first glance, these two devices has the identical price starting at 399 USD if you will get the whole package respectively if it will be Xbox 360 slim + Kinect or Sony PS3 + Move controller. At this point, the review for PS3 move got more of the favorable response not because it uses a controller but because it’s easier to use. The Kinect is a whole new experience and because this is the first version towards an avant-garde approach of entirely replacing all the usual UI we have with a Human User-Interface system, Microsoft somehow fails to perfect it yet. According from reviews, this is the main reason why Kinect got a low-score.
Perhaps if you will wait for its second version then the odds might change, but for the meantime, just in case you would attend the black Friday 2010 sale, I supposed you know what to pick already for the kids!
