As a part of Microsoft’s plan to connect its new series of Windows Phone 7 smartphones to the monstrous xbox-live gaming platform. The company has started doing the first move: To update the xbox.com site with a new design making sure millions of its visitors will notice that WP7 phones can be sync with Xbox Live.

Just what Microsoft announced on the recent Windows Phone 7 event, you can now edit, dress and change your Avatar through the new “Avatar Creator” feature. Aside from that, Xbox will also launch a more socially hyped environment than its current platform. For instance, there will be this ‘unified inbox’ where all of your friend’s request, game request, personal message, etc will be under one hood. Family Reports which will keep you updated about the things your buddies are doing in Xbox Live, all available in one click. These changes will be available today and expect it to be pumped with more features since Xbox 360 Kinect will be released just two weeks from now.

At this point, Microsoft still haven’t disclosed their plans about their limit on planning to sync Xbox 360 Live to WP7 – Hopefully, in the future that much coveted Xbox games on a smartphone would become possible.
