The program will basically let you earn extra Microsoft points just by doing something you enjoy.
Some of the featured points include 100 points for making your first purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace, 100 points when you purchase or renew your Xbox Live Online Gold Membership, 400 points when you purchase or renew your Xbox Live Gold Family Pack, 20 points for completing a monthly survey, and 100 points using Netflix on Xbox Live. There are also special prizes for members who participate in exclusive Xbox Live promotions.
So if you are wondering how to qualify for these points, all you need to do is sign up for an Xbox Live account. Then, apply for the Rewards program and you’re all set to earn points! These points will then be used to purchase anything that is available on the Xbox Marketplace. So, it’s basically good as cash. You can purchase games, videos, Add-ons, and a whole lot more. Just be sure to use your points on or before June 30, 2012.
