Back on the 3rd quarter of this year, we’ve seen a lot of amazing innovations when it comes to fusion of brain and technology producing a near-like cognition of brain’s nerve endings towards a machine in an exciting kind of way. This mind control computer and robotic arms gave me high hopes this technology will blossom on the next years to come. Although somehow, like many of you are thinking, wouldn’t it be possible to harness this budding technology today?
As of the moment, we have something that’s closer and somewhat obtainable on a form of this headset and an iPhone application called as “XWave”.
Check out the picture.

At a glance, you can already see how this device performs. With the use of an external headset with plastic connectors and clips you should stick to your ears, you can track the offset signals coming from your brain on a graphical UI representation thanks to its XWave app you can download for free at the app store. Basically, what this does is to give you a quick illustration of what’s the current state of your mind. For example, if you are focused enough to think on something, the gamma will be pushed on a higher degree whereas if you try to relax yourself, the pulse color will shift on hues of blue – the darker it is means you are already on the peak of Nirvana.
So far, it is an interesting device although you need to pay for 100 bucks to get its Xwave Headset which is not the cheapest iphone add-on you can have. This one is also available on iPod Touch and iPad, just don’t try to ask us what would Xwave be representing if you are looking at Minka Kelly. Oh, did I hear you say dark green?
