Famous teen singer and sensation Justin Bieber has been a target of You Tube hackers lately. Members of the Internet Community 4Chan ,which turns out to be a group of Justin Bieber haters has been in a serious business of hacking a variety of videos of Justin Bieber not because they admire the Pop Singer but because they hate Justin Bieber so much. In fact, 4Chan has managed to hack You Tube using its comment system and used it as a means for destroying Bieber’s reputation.
There were some reported incidents that some videos relating to Justin Bieber have been redirected to other sites which appears to be pornographic and hosting malwares. Some users have also seen a banner telling that Bieber is dead.
According to some reports, HTML injection vulnerability was found in You Tube’s comment system that gave way to Internet Community 4Chan to hack Justin Bieber’s music videos. HTML’s within the comment system is very restricted but the hackers have exerted all their effort to penetrate this restricted area. The bug is triggered by placing a common tag at the beginning of the post but the entire page is basically the same. No one will doubt that it has been injected with a bug by simply just looking on it.
With this incident, websites such as Twitter was filled with complaints and reports regarding this problem .According to The Next Web, Google did not waste any time and immediately disabled the commenting feature of You Tube within the first hour of attack then corrected the bug within two hours. The said attack came the same day that the iTunes App Store was said to be hacked.
The Internet Community 4Chan has been known as Justin Bieber haters. This group has started some sort of cultural war against Justin Bieber. They have launched several hate campaigns against Bieber and even tried to send Justin Bieber in North Korea as part of his world tour.
In a poll currently hosted by Bieber’s website regarding where he should go during his world tour, Israel ranks first with around 235,000 votes but 4Chans users have joined together and put North Korea on second place with just 200,000. Knowing North Korea as a communist country, 4Chan users must really hate him.
In Google’s official statement regarding this incident, Google has promised that they will continue to study the vulnerability of the system to prevent the said hacking incident to happen again in the future. Let’s hope for the best and wish that this incident will not happen again.

When will the 4Chan users be charged with hate crimes and other criminal activities? Many of the users ought to be in jail for things that they’ve done. No, I don’t mean this, although I find it disgusting that they’re so hateful, but the numerous other things they’ve done.
